a) The Workshop Manager (WM) is a member of the management and reports directly to the Accountable Manager. b) Workshop Manager is a nominated person in accordance with TCAR Part 145. c) A Workshop Manager is responsible for administration of the repair station, this position will ensure that the repair station continues to comply with the competent authority requirements.

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks such as overhaul, disassembling, assembling, cleaning, repair, & testing of Components.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with component maintenance manuals, SBs/SILs/ADs & procedures in order to ensure safety and high-quality standards.
- Understand, and fill-up work packages (Shop Routing Cards SRC) and other documents to assure component’s serviceability.
- Fulfil Environmental-Health and Safety “EHS” procedures in particularly high-pressure gases, acids, chemicals and other hazardous safety procedures and protections.
- Familiar with Shop Routing Card, CMM’s, SB’s, SL’s and any other related documentation & creation of Shop Finding Reports.
- Familiar with test benches & special tools related to his/her work – Ensure tool availability/calibration & tool checklists are filled and up-to-date at all times.
- Familiar with reporting procedures & discrepancies reports.
- Inspect, control & review job performed by qualified technicians & inspectors.
- Ensure that the job has been performed in accordance with all approved maintenance documentation / procedures applicable.
- Ensure that the work is done within the approved organization capabilities.
- Ensure that appropriate tools/consumables/chemicals have been used with theirs calibration period / shelf life.
- Carry out release to service within his/her scope of qualification.
- Satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracted operators/customers in accordance with the work specification (Work Order and approved MOE procedures).
- Ensuring that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
- Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
- Ensuring that any work for internal workshops or external contracted/subcontracted organisations are correctly detailed in a work order/contract and that the requirements of the contract/work order are fulfilled in respect of inspection.
- Providing feedback to the Quality System about the services provided by contracted Organisations, and Subcontractors.
- Responding to quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which he/she is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits.
- Ensuring, through the workforce under his/her control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and the competent authority.
- Implementation of the safety policy and human factor issues.
- Availability of facilities appropriate to the planned work including hangars, workshops office accommodation, stores as applicable for the planned work.
- Availability of a working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.
- Develop a production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work.
- Availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the work being performed.
- record and notify any inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedure, practice information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by maintenance personnel to the author of maintenance data.
- provide a common work card or worksheet system to be used throughout relevant parts of the organisation and ensure such documents comply with 145.A.45 (e).
- Notifying the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards (Accountable Manager and Quality Manager to be officially informed of any lack of 25% of available man-hours over a calendar month).
- Ensure adequate safety precautions are observed by repair station personnel.
- Responding to safety and quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which he is responsible, which arise from independent compliance monitoring audits
- Storage room, tool and Equipment management, but not limit to incoming inspection of components, parts, materials, tools and equipment, the related classification, segregation and storage according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
คุณสมบัติ
- A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education that is acceptable to the CAAT.
- Relevant engineering degree’ means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies that are relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components. Note: The above qualification may be replaced by 5 years of experience in addition to those already recommended by the paragraph (b).
- five years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
- Understand in Workshop Activities.
- Has knowledge in Aviation.
- Leadership/Team Building
- Has English language skill; written and spoken.
- Endorsement license type which company operation
- Proficient in Shop Routing Cards and in issuing Authorized Release Certificates.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities within his / her scope of qualification.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel…).
- Overhaul, repair, test, inspect & troubleshoot maintenance products as per our capability list.
